CrowdPatch Tutorial 1 - Register and Edit your Profile
In order to register, you need to fill out the form. All the data fields must be completed for your registration to be successful. Many fields are self-explanatory. We need you to provide your postcode so that you can see live projects in your area and have the opportunity to link your projects with crowdpatches in your region. We also need you to select from the list of options in the Skills field: type the first few letters of the skill you wish to add and select the correct option from the drop-down list that is displayed. Add up to 10 skills in this field | Editing your profile is easy. Simply click on the Edit profile button under your name in the top right corner on your personal profile page. You can include a link to your website and information about yourself.
But remember, the registered email address for your favourite social account must match your CrowdPatch email account for faster login to work. If the email addresses don't match, you can change your CrowdPatch email address by editing your profile.
Editing your profile is easy. Simply click on your name in the top right corner and select 'edit profile.' You can include a link to your website, info about yourself or your organisation and social media profiles to make it easy for others in the CrowdPatch community to connect with you.
As a new user, it's important that you add a photo to liven up your profile. Upload your photo. If you need to, you can crop the photo to make it just right and click save.
Another great profile feature is the ability to add a cover photo. This is your chance to make a statement about your organisation and what you care about most for our crowd to see. Once you upload the cover photo, simply click and drag the photo to position it just right and click save.
