ABOUT The Icelanders Cometh

What is the Project?

'The Icelanders Cometh' showcases award-winning Icelandic authors in the UK. To mark 'World Book and Copyright Day' on 23 April, the £2304+ raised will pay for Icelandic books in English to be given to UK libraries. The project ends on 23 October 2016 to optimise PR and mark the Frankfurt Book Fair.

What do we Need?

'The Icelanders Cometh' aims to raise GBP 2304.16+ to mark 'World Book Night' and 'World Book and Copyright Day' on 23 April 2016 to pay for books by Icelanders to be gifted to UK libraries. Please contribute money in exchange for rewards; volunteer skills, talents and contacts; and share the news!
