What is the Project?
Christmas Lunch for Windsor's older people.
Every year, Spencer Denney Centre feed around 100 older people over 3 days around Christmas time.
Catherine, the centre manager, likes to make it special with an individual gift for each attendee.
The table is decked out with all things Christmas... crackers are essential
She feeds them smoked salmon, turkey with all the trimmings followed by Christmas pudding or chocolate log!
A glass of sherry gets them in the mood followed by wine with their Christmas dinner.
Preceded & followed by nibbles... a proper Christmas feast... for some, this might be the only Christmas dinner they get!
And that’s not all... Catherine books some local entertainment... a right good sing song is needed after filling their tummies
This costs Catherine £900+ to do it properly...
What do we Need?
Can you help?
£10 would buy a local older person a seat at the table... as an individual, why not pay for someone to have a special day... to show their appreciation, you will get a thank you note from one of those older people lucky enough to enjoy Catherine’s hospitality.
If you’re a company, why not dig a little deeper and throw in £50 into the pot, Catherine will send you a thank you letter you can frame & put on your wall to show how you are helping the older people locally.
Thank you.
